After its stellar 2006 debut Robbers & Cowards, the group continued to release well received full-lengths, some of which included hit singles such as 2014's "First" off of Hold My Home. La Divine is the first since Hold My…, and it features 14 tracks recorded with a line-up that consists of Modest Mouse's Joe Plummer on drums and David Quon on guitar (more than half of original members have moved on from CWK). Kicking off the LP is "Love Is Mystical," a piano-lead, radio-friendly tune, with "So Tied Up" following closely with infectious melodies and a sing-along hook. "Can We Hang On?" is also a highlight, and you should also check out "Restless," "Part Of The Night," and "Invincible." This is the indie-exclusive purple vinyl, limited to 1000 copies.
