Dirty Sound System (Clovis Goux and Guillaume Sorge) built up quite a rep as the French diplomats of tasteful dancefloor selections and edits with their DIRTY Edits compilations. Originally released in 2009, Dirty French Psychedelics added a whole new dimension to their already vast repertoire of styles focusing on exotic and rare psychedelia of the 70's with a decidedly French slant. No floor fillers or party rockers here, just wonderful and trippy head music to set your mind adrift... (and a lot of times that's all you need). Fans of Serge Gainsbourg, AIR, etc. will certainly dig on these deep cuts and hard-to-find gems. 13 tracks total from the likes of Christophe, Bridgitte Fontaine, Cortex, Nino Ferrer, Jean Jacques Dexter, Alain Kan, Francois De Roubaix, and many more. Recommended.
