Holy rave flashback! Germany's Traumprinz goes under the DJ Metatron alias for a massive EP of euphoric techno bliss. With previous releases on Giegling and his own eponymous imprint, Traumprinz has been making waves in the techno underground for a minute now. On U'll Be The King Of The Stars he taps into the early 90's rave sound, touching on emotive synth melodies contrasted with tough breaks to make you lose your shit. Peep the style on "Rave Child," and "The Colour," while the title track just keeps you floating on clouds of serotonin. Also check the cascading arpeggios on "Oh Ah," and the ambient cut "Spiral Worlds." 180 gram pressing with awesome seal insert. Recommended.
