Sprinkles alternate mixes for the recent collaboration with Mark Fell. Terre Thaemlitz aka DJ Sprinkles hardly needs an introduction. The veteran DJ/Producer is a favorite for those in the know for a myriad of reasons - one being the consistent quality of his output, despite the great diversity and range. On Fresh Insights, Sprinkles teams up with Mark Fell of the minimalist group SND for a pair of gorgeous deep house tracks in the classic NYC style. Check the warm and hypnotic grooves on "Insights," then get deep "Fresh" featuring provocative words from the late socialist British politician Tony Benn. This is the second 12" from the duo featuring alternate mixes that add a varied percussion to the original grooves.
