  • Sophomore studio album from Montreal's Godspeed You! Black Emperor. Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas To Heaven was originally recorded in February of 2000 and documented the creative evolution of the band since their debut on Canada's Constellation Records, F♯ A♯ ∞. There are five distinct movements that are framed by field recordings which recall the narrative sonic collage techniques of their first record. Each side is a seamless flow of orchestral rock that slowly unfolds over time. The album is loaded with dynamics and unexpected turns as sonic textures are juxtaposed against each other. The inner panels of the album's sleeve contain a diagram drawn by Godspeed!'s Efrim Menuck that represents each movement. Released by Constellation Records with a gatefold sleeve.

    • 180g black double vinyl pressing
    • gatefold sleeve
    • music label: Constellation 2000
