Left field beats masterpiece from Gold Panda. Once again Derwin (aka Gold Panda) offers a breath of fresh air in the beats scene with the exquisite sounds of "Mountain" and "Financial District." The former takes you on a sonic journey with far east wind and percussion fused with modern beat techniques and drones to create a real sense of wonder, something kind of rare these days. "Financial District" keeps the dreamy vibe intact, albeit with a different, more dense atmosphere. Fans of BOC, Matthewdavid, etc. need to check this. Limited clear vinyl pressing with artwork from Andy Gilmore. Recommended.
