Easily one of the most epic sci-fi flicks in recent memory, Interstellar got unanimous praise from the critics and space nerds alike (including a rare thumbs up from Neal Degrasse Tyson on being the most realistic depictions of outer space phenomenon). You can chalk it up to the brilliant performances from Matthew McConaughey and crew, but Hans Zimmer really set the mood with this tensely atmospheric soundtrack. Putting this on a good system will immediately take your imagination to the outer realms of the unknown. Sixteen tracks in all for anyone who can appreciated dramatic mood music with a richly cinematic quality.
