In the short time that Jacques Greene has been releasing tracks he's managed to make a significant impression on the world of dance music. The Canadian producer skates the fine line between dance and pop music, favoring a heavy dose of contemporary R&B to add life to his compositions. For "On Your Side" he teamed up with How To Dress Well's Tom Krell to bridge the gap between classic house and contemporary pop music. The duo avoids the pitfalls that so many similar songs seem to fall into by not letting either genre standout too much. To follow up that track Greene turns to Olivier Daysoul for a gospel inspired hook on "Faithful." Instead of his usual processing, Greene lets the vocals shine through, unadorned. "Quicksand," an unnamed track when it first appeared on Greene's takeover at BBC 6Music closes things out in his now classic style.
