"Made as close to the exact specifications of Shure's defunct M44G (a slightly more balanced / lower output alternative to the M44-7) as possible, the J44's perform as well, if not better than the originals. The nude diamond stylus is a big upgrade over the original M44G stylus. Nude diamonds offer better sound quality and are more forgiving. These are easily the best alternative to trying to track down deadstock M44G's. Our staff now swears by them." - TTL
