Early 1960s studio album from jazz legend John Coltrane. Coltrane was originally recorded in August 1962 and features a focused effort from the masterful saxophonist. This is Coltrane's classic quartet with McCoy Tyner on piano, Jimmy Garrison on bass and Elvin Jones behind the drums, and they come off as a fully integrated unit.
