The album that King Gizzard And The Lizard Wizard put online for free, master tapes and all for anyone to use ("Free as in, free."). Suicide Squeeze keeps it interesting, however, by pressing up a very limited run (500 copies only) of the record on translucent red vinyl. As far as the music is concerned, the hyper prolific outfit plays around with intricate layers and uncommon time signatures. In comparison to other outputs, Polygondwanaland is heavier on prog rock, which sits well w/ the band's signature psychedelia. Check out the evolving 10-minute epicness that is "Crumbling Castle," or the melodic title track. Other highlights include "Deserted Dunes Welcome Weary Feet" and "Inner Cell."
