A sense of disembodied melancholy pervades both "Aroo" and "Funny Love." This is some dark stuff for the disenchanted and disemboweled. The tracks unfold like tone poems amid a sea of fuzz. An industrial edge is palpable, but is it really present? I'll leave that for you to decide. This is truly original material.
