  • 10th anniversary pressing of Michigan post-hardcore heroes La Dispute's debut. Somewhere At The Bottom Of The River Between Vega And Altair was a seminal recording in the post-hardcore, screamo, post-rock and metalcore scenes, with frontman Jordan Dreyer's vocal performance encompassing all of the above in a chameleonic blend of screaming, spoken word, punk-inspired barking and off-key singing. The album is loosely based on the Chinese folk tale of The Cowherd and the Weaver Girl, which symbolizes a forbidden love affair between the stars Vega and Altair, hence the album's title. Double vinyl pressing on opaque bone colored wax, housed in gatefold sleeve, limited to 1000 copies.
