Lab Overview

Record Store Day Exclusive! Previously CD-only release from Locust gets a proper double vinyl pressing for RSD 2016. Morning Light was originally released in 1997 on Apollo / R&S Records and found London's Mark Van Hoen fusing IDM and downtempo with pop ambient aesthetics.  From Medical Records - "The opener Your Selfish Ways blasts into a deep tremolo effect with multiple treated samples and glitch perfectly intertwining with the gorgeous female vocals. No One In The World is a dreamy journey with rich a rich bass line and accented by horns and symphonic movements. The album also features a collaboration with Robert Fripp of King Crimson on the track I Am The Murderer which is an alternate take of the original track unique to this release. On The Horizon features Neil Halstead from Slowdive who also worked with Mark on the Black Hearted Brother LP." Features a gatefold jacket with extensive interview and liner notes by Dave Segal, limited to 500 copies.
