This is one of those funky soul gems that truly deserves a reissue. Milton Wright's 1975 groover "Keep It Up" has been on my want list for years (ever since I heard Kenny Dope kick off a mix with it), but never showed up for less than a bill. The track kills it softly with Milton's spaced-out Stevie-style vocals and awesome synth hooks, all over a funky mid-tempo groove. Flipside smooths it out with "The Silence That you Keep" keeping in-line with the original 7" tracklist configuration. Loud import pressing with original label replicas and fresh remaster for optimal sound quality. Recommended.
