Amerigo does it again! The latest in the mash up master's Soul Mates Series pairs the conscious Brooklyn flow of Yasiin Bey (aka Mos Def) with soul legend Marvin Gaye. The dream collab that never was is now, and is aptly titled Yasiin Gaye. Like his previous efforts (), the production is much more than a mere "mash up album" and truly fuses the two artist's separate songs into one. Check the blend technique and production prowess on "Inner City Travelling Man," "Definition of Infinity," "I Want You Till Summertime," "The Panties" with Teddy Pendergrass, and "Workin It Out." Pic sleeve, recommended.
