For the 20th anniversary of Nevermind's release, Universal presents a 4 x LP edition of the landmark album. The release includes the remastered version of the original album as well as takes from The Smart Studio Sessions, The Boombox Rehearsals, and BBC Sessions - many of which were previously unreleased. Here is the original review for Nevermind: We'll spare you the Woodman review where he would write about drinking a 40 "in an hour dude," or that time he puffed a blunt and saw visuals while listening to this in college. Nonetheless, a nostalgia ride to most, the only post 1980 album that cracked the Rolling Stone top 20 records of all time. If you need a reminder, this is the one with that "Smells like Teen Spirit" track, and "In Bloom," "Come As You Are," "Breed," "Lithium," "Polly," "Territorial Pissing," "Drain You," "Lounge Act," "Stay Away," "On A Plain," and "Something in the Way." Magic rock. Recommended.
