Sophomore studio album from Paris' Nouvelle Vague. Bande A Part was originally released in 2006 and, just like the band's eponymous debut, included bossa nova cover versions of 1980s new wave favorites. The music is easy listening for the modern listener; somewhat kitschy but nowhere near cheesy, with endearing remakes of songs by Buzzcocks, Yazoo, Blondie, New Order, and many more.
