Some days, some nights...Three track EP from the late great Jun Seba, AKA Nujabes. For an anime set in an alternate Edo period Japan and inspired by hip-hop culture, tapping Nujabes to work on the soundtrack just made sense. Side A features the original Samurai Champloo opening theme, "Other Side of Phase" on vinyl for the first time in instrumental form (the vocal version, "Battlecry" featuring Shing02 was previously released on vinyl in 2022), and "Rainyway Back Home" from Nujabes' third and final album, Spiritual State. "Horizon" from Modal Soul on the flip. First time on vinyl, recommended.
