"The Rip" comes from the group's incredible third album, 2008's Third (which is often slept-on IMO) and features Beth delivering stunning, melancholy vocals over a dreamy acoustic melody. The payoff comes about halfway into the track when a fast motorik rhythm comes in and takes the track to the heavens. Single-sided vinyl with artwork from the video (see below) on the flip. Plays at 45.
