  • 8th album from Portland, Oregon's Portugal. The Man! The ever evolving psych-pop band delivers the most accessible and hits-driven full-length to date, and it comes 4 years after 2013's Evil Friends. The group was in the studio in-between with Beastie Boys' Mike D but also got help from big names like Danger Mouse, John Hill, and Ammar Malik to finish the 10-tracker, and title of it is inspired by John Gourley's dad's ticket stub for the landmark 1969 festival. With that said, the sound leans toward the psych/analog, but this time around, hip-hop and electronic music rhythms also make appearances. "Feel It Still," hands down the biggest tune off of Woodstock, however, is a throwback cut w/ similarities to the Marvelettes. Other highlights include "Number One," "Rich Friends," "So Young," and "Noise Pollution." This is the 180g vinyl pressing.
