The outtakes were recorded between 2012 and 2013 for the I'm With You album, and were originally only released on digital and 7" formats. I'm Beside You compiles all these tracks (seventeen of 'em if you're keeping count) on double vinyl, complete with gatefold sleeve and full cover art with lyrics printed inside.
