  • Rhye hit the Lab office like a airborne strain of zombie purp . From particular PH to mainstream Stony to the stubborn Pro-Squad, Rhye was infecting us hard with its breathy Norwegian vocals and expert-level production. "Open" had us open for a week, then we heard a rumor that Innovative Leisure / Do-Over head Jamie Strong was actually behind the vocals. Could this version of Lab Crying Game be true? After some research, we were able to find info that Mike Milosh (Plug Research) and Robin Hannibal (Owusu & Hannibal) were, in fact, Rhye. Apparently after "Open" dropped, there was a major label bidding war which resulted in this major label debut album. I've been bumping this for a couple weeks now, and it only gets better. Great album for vinyl listening too. Gatefold cover with free download of the album.
