On Slow Soul Flow, classic soul joints get custom screwed, flipped, dubbed, and tripped out as only Shoes can do properly. Check the sound as Aretha Franklin gets on soul drone mode, Eddie Kendricks gets a dreamy dub out, and Al Green gets a slow burn. On the flip, Frankie Beverly turns up the tempo for some serious funk grooves while Marvin Gaye takes it away on a cloud. These edits were originally made for their excellent Slow Soul Flow mix, but this vinyl EP gives you the joints in their entirety. Recommended.
