2010 album from Sufjan Stevens. The Age Of Adz is Sufjan's sixth proper album and marked a decided shift in musical style. Gone are the indie folk vibes and geography-based gimmicks of previous works (see Illinoise and Michigan re: state albums), traded in for over the top electronics and much more personal themes. Call it "folktronica" if you will as Stevens experiments heavily with glitchy melodies, drum machine rhythms, and filtered vocals. 12 tracks in all including the epic "Impossible Soul."
