Lab Overview

Three hand selected cuts from The Cure courtesy of the dudes at Slow To Speak. "Other Voices" and "Faith" (listed incorrectly on the cover as "The Figurehead") were lifted from their 1981 album Faith and showcase their early gothic rock sound. The sound is stripped down, the absence of the synthesizers that would show up on later releases is palpable. Slow To Speak jump forward a few years and many albums with the inclusion of "The Same Deep Water As You." It's a fitting track though as the album it was sourced from, "Disintegration," marked a return to the sound of their earlier albums. Three great tracks, silkscreened cover, nice pressing.
