"I recently purchased a Pro-Ject Debut Carbon DC turntable from you, and I am really impressed with the level of detail and customer service I’ve received so far. The instruction folder is a great touch, and your excellent site gave me tons of info and insight into buying and setting up the turntable. Bravo!" - P. Cuffari
"Wow. I just got the turntable. It is amazing. I love the bags, I love the fact that I got it literally less than 24 hours after ordering, I love the cartoon easy set up pics, the stickers, record cleaner brush, and the sound is great for the money. SOOO Happy!! Thanks guys and gals--you just created a customer for life."- R. Montgomery
"I love the Turntable Lab, great service & great products. There's no other store or site I'd rather buy my gear from. I'll sure keep on purchasing my equipment from TTL."- D. Martinez
"It's always nice to feel like you're appreciated, and you guys have done a great job with that."- R. Abeel
"Turntable lab constantly deliver the best and most current selection of modern music on all formats. It's my first stop for vinyl house and disco music. The reviews are accurate and I can trust the buyers to source quality product. Customer service is second to none and Bret has been nothing short of outstanding in every interaction we've ever had. Proud to be a Labhead." - G. Laurie
"First off I just want to thank you and your team for everything you do! The equipment and products you sell are awesome and exactly what artists like me need. I remember when I first discovered Turntable Lab by searching online for DJ equipment. I was looking all over for different equipment that I needed and when I found TTL I was relieved to find out that you guys basically had everything I was looking for." - C. Arroyo
"My Rane mixer arrived safely yesterday. I just wanted to say thanks to you and your team for your speedy response to my initial enquiry and efficient delivery. Great price and great service, I'll definitely be telling my friends about it." - A. McConnell (Marrickville, Australia)

Essential 2nd wave ska reissued! The sound of Clement Dodd’s Studio One and Duke Reid’s Treasure Isle resonated strongly in a country full of first-generation British-born Jamaicans in Margaret Thatcher’s economically-stagnant England, yielding second-wave ska flag-bearers The Specials and a legion of similar bands in their wake, including Madness, The Beat and The Bodysnatchers. The Selecter, however, hold the distinction of being the only band other than The Specials to release an album on Two-Tone Records; the rest were relegated to singles or compilation appearances before growing frustrated and seeking deals elsewhere. Too Much Pressure takes several cues from The Specials’ debut; in addition to the signature 2-Tone monochromatic artwork, the band - led by singer Pauline Black and guitarist Neol Davies - ponder working class dread (“Three Minute Hero,” “Time Hard,” “Too Much Pressure”) and ordinary teen stuff (“On My Radio,” “Missing Words,” “My Collie”) with a handful of deep ska cuts (The Pioneers’ “Time Hard”, Owen & Leon Silvera’s “Murder,” Justin Hinds’ “Carry Go Bring Home”) and the James Bond theme tacked on for good measure. You gotta love the straightforward, unambiguous quality of these songs (“My Collie” is not about a dog!!). 40th anniversary remastered edition on 180g wax with bonus 7-inch.
