  • Todd Terje is unstoppable! Since he dropped "Ragysh" on us back in 2011 it seems like no summer has been complete with out something from him. The Norwegian producer continues this summertime disco domination with "Standbar." The tongue in cheek titled track (standbar means beach bar when translated) is a heavy dose of feelgood dance music, sure to set things on fire. We get eased into the track with the Samba mix on the A side. It's all tropical rhythms before his signature playfulness slides in. There's a moment within every Terje track as of late where it seems like it's been taken to its peak, but then he deftly applies a subtle tweak to take things even further. This is evident deep into the Disko mix; we're given a bit of space and then it hits you. In order to help us all come down, Terje was nice enough to include a little Bonus. Another jam in the bag for this dude. Recommended.
