  • Toro Y Moi is back with his fourth album on Carpark! After the dance-centric detour that was 2014's Michael as Les Sins, Chaz Bundick returns to something much closer to the original sound that made him famous. What For? harks back to the chill feelings of Causers Of This or Underneath The Pine, but played in a traditional band configuration (with guitar, bass, keys, drums) for a breezy retro vibe. Check the sound on the opener "What You Want," "Buffalo," "Lilly," or "Ratcliff," each of which sound like they could have easily been heard on 70's pop radio between some Todd Rundgren, Pink Floyd or Classics IV. Other highlights include the "The Flight," "Empty Nesters," and the closer "Yeah Right." Indie exclusive white and blue starburst vinyl pressing with sticker, poster, and digital download included. Limited edition of 2000.

    • Indie Exclusive blue and white starbust colored vinyl
    • limited to 2000 copies
    • includes digital download, sticker + foldout poster
    • music label: Carpark Records 2015
