Soundtrack from Fischer Stevens' climate change documentary. Before The Flood follows actor Leonardo DiCaprio on a 3 year journey as he surveys the impact of climate change. The soundtrack is a collaborative effort from producers Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, Argentinean composer Gustavo Santaolalla, and Scottish post rockers Mogwai. The results are a beautiful mix of electronic elements and plaintive strings with Reznor's vocals appearing in a few key places. It's a dark and ominous undertaking that fits the film perfectly. Eighteen tracks in all. Released by Lakeshore Records on triple 180 gram vinyl housed in a tri-fold sleeve.
