The four LPs sport 48 tracks by The Upsetters, Harry J Allstars, The Maytals, John Holt, Ken Boothe, Desmond Dekker, Tommy McCook, Jackie Edwards and more, split into four categories: Trojan Hits Vol. 1 & 2, Dancing Time and Reggae Goes Pop. The two seven inches feature unreleased recordings by The Melodians and Justin Hinds & The Dominoes, as well as brand new tracks by Reggae Roast Soundsystem. The six CDs feature 130 mixed tracks, with more than half previously only available on vinyl. Trojan throw in a ton of extras to sweeten the deal: Trojan slipmat, patch, poster, wooden 45 adaptor and best of all, a massive hardcover coffee table book containing photos, essays and full scale reproductions of the 50 most iconic Trojan album sleeves. It's all housed in a deluxe hardcover box that’s designed to look like a soundsystem speaker cabinet (even has raised printing on the speaker grill!). Recommended.
