One of the most revered and timeless SEGA soundtracks finally comes to vinyl! Originally released in 1989 for Genesis/Mega Drive, The Revenge Of Shinobi combined western dance music with Japanese flourishes for a unique and memorable soundtrack unlike many others at the time. This was actually legendary game composer Yuzo Koshiro's first commissioned work for SEGA, on which he pioneered many concepts and styles that would later be fully realized in the Streets Of Rage trilogy. Data Discs does it up correctly once again with beautiful bone colored 180g vinyl housed in heavyweight outer sleeve complete with double-sided lithographic print featuring original artwork from the SEGA archives and obi strip. Also includes exclusive liner notes written by Koshiro himself. Recommended.
