Aloe Blacc is back and now he's got a live band backing him, namely Truth And Soul's The Expressions and El Michels Affair. The result is "I Need A Dollar" and it sounds amazing as Aloe is proving to be a true soul man, just look at him on that cover! Much more than just an average rehash of retro styles, this is authenic soul that everyone can relate to (especially these days). HBO even got on board and swooped it for the opening of How To Make It In America! Also includes "Take Me Back" and instrumentals for both. Recommended.
