Sons of the 80s, Benoit & Sergio, continue their award tour of elite dance labels (DFA, Visionquest, Spectral Sound, Double Standard) landing on Jamie Jones and Lee Foss' Hot Creations. More than other artists in their genre, the duo seems to be extra-thorough in their pop-ish productions, cloaking their 4/4 in multiple layers of juicy synths and vocals. "Bridge So Far" is a perfect example, tasting like a $9 smoothie that you only paid $5 for. "$100 Bill" reminds me of an 80s 12" b-side version, with a larger, slappier sound. Recommended.
