Sporting co-production from Timbaland and guest appearances from Congo ensemble Konono No.1, free folk / psych drummer extraordinaire Chris Corsano, Lightning Bolt's Brian Chippendale, Antony Hegarty, and Mark Bell, the album's sound is somewhat all over the place, but always anchored by the unmistakable vocals of Ms. Guomundsdottir. Check these tracks for a taste: "Earth Intruders," "Innocence," "Hope," "Declare Independence" and "Vertebrae By Vertebrae." Recommended.
