  • Alternative score for The Strange Colour Of Your Body's Tears curated by Blanck Mass & commissioned exclusively by the East End Film Festival. The Strange Colour Of Your Body's Tears was originally released in 2013, directed by Bruno Forzani and Héléne Catet, and was a full on homage to the Italian giallo films of Mario Bava and Dario Argento. The film featured no original score, and used used music from existing giallo films. Edinburgh's Ben Power (Blanck Mass, Fuck Buttons) decided to use the film's blank musical slate as a means for experimentation and collaboration. Power recruited several artists and gave them each a section of the movie to work with. The score is remarkably cohesive given that the musicians had no idea what the other contributors were working on at the time. Includes music from Stockholm's Roll The Dice, London's Helm, Moon Gangs and Phil Julian, Glasgow's Konx-Om-Pax, and New York's C. Spencer Yeh, as well as Blanck Mass. Released by Death Waltz Originals.
