The Minds Eye EP is one of the heaviest offerings we've heard from FTR, a five tracker filled with crushing drums and tripped out psychedelics that could only have come from the mind of a mad beat scientist. Check the knock on "The Free" to get an idea of what he's working with. So ill! "The Mind's Eye" continues with a funky beat stew to sink you deeper into the dark recesses of your brain, while "Prototype B" goes off on an epic psych-fusion tip. Fans of GLK should be all over this. Not for the weak of heart (or mind).
