  • Original soundtrack to Argento's European Dawn Of The Dead, Zombi! Dawn Of The Dead is one of greatest horror films in history and while most fans of the genre are familiar with the American cut, the much more explicit European cut directed by Dario Argento is THE cut. With the new version of the film came a completely different soundtrack, this time produced entirely by Argento's frequent collaborators Goblin. The score is quite surprising for the Italian prog group that cut their teeth listening to King Crimson as it is nearly a complete departure of their brand of orchestration. Instead of the spastic drums, synths and creep factor we are treated to almost over the top Disco rock hybrids, Ethno drum chants, and occasional piano interludes. Stilly creepy, but in an entirely different way.
