  • Kate Bush's 3rd album, official repress! At the time of its release, Never For Ever (1980) was Kate Bush's most acclaimed album, but her singular synthesis of woodsy romance, folk aesthetics and modern production would only get bigger and better as the years wore on. It's Kate's first attempt at producing one of her own albums, and marks the beginning of the Kate we know today as the brilliant auteur, not to mention the sonic palette which would define her sound for the rest of the decade: synthesizers, drum machines and of course, Kate's soaring, theatric vocals. The album kicks off of course with "Babooshka," one of her all-time biggest chunes, but upon further inspection there's some serious snacks here: "The Wedding List," "Breathing," the fantastical bossa of "Delius," the Chick Corea-ish "Egypt" and more. This nice-sounding vinyl pressing comes courtesy of Parlophone and Kate's own Fish People imprint, and is the first time the album has been pressed on vinyl in 30 years. black vinyl housed in gatefold sleeve, 11 tracks total (Also available as part of the Remastered In Vinyl I boxset along with The Kick Inside, Lionheart and The Dreaming).
