We've been big fans of the sound here at the Lab ever since the 55 album dropped, and this 45 pairs two of the best tracks back to back on one potent slab of wax. Here Dennis Coffey's B-boy staple "Scorpio" gets a tropical facelift with tough breaks and steel vibes galore, while Sugarhill Gang's "8th Wonder" gets lifted from the NY streets to the island sands. Proper pic sleeve to boot, recommended.
