  • Heat alert. The homies at Razor N Tape just dropped some major disco fire with this double 12" pack from "the unsung hero of the edit game," Chicago's Underdog! This limited edition 2LP set houses four burning re-edits, each luxuriously taking up a whole side on vinyl with grooves that are primed to ready to move the floor. Consider this a masterclass on how to make the perfect extended disco version as Underdog flips disco classics and obscurities to build up tension and work the crowd like never before. Check his excellent re-edit of George Kranz percussive disco classic "Din Daa Daa" for a prime example of a track we all know, but now with a stripped down sound and a absolutely massive build up that's perfect for mixing. Worth it just for this one, but Underdog also lends his expertise to Randy Brown's "Love Is All We Need," Geraldine Hunt's "Can't Fake The Feeling" and the funky groover "So Damn Good." Limited pressing, recommended.
