The New Orleans-based deep house producer's tracks have graced respected labels like DFA, Supersoul, and HAKT Recordings over the past few years, and now he has a second go round on Perm Vac with 4 tracks of golden dancefloor material. "A Night In Newark" stays deep, while infusing just the right amount of funky disco and cosmic synth vibes to keep it interesting. The same can be said with the shuffling rhythms of "Heaven's Gate," and the 80's garage vibes of "I Am," while "Love Chakra Safari" slows it down on the tropical cruise ship tip. So smooooth.
