  • Regulators... Mount up! Special 20th anniversary expanded reissue of Warren G's debut full length from 1994. As an album, Regulate is a stone cold West Coast classic that cemented the smoothed out G-Funk sound. The title track featured a young Nate Dogg dropping one of the greatest hooks of his career, and is still the best use of a Michael McDonald sample. Worth it for this one alone, but don't forget about "This DJ," and album jams like "Do You See," "Recognize," and "This Is The Shack" with The Dove Shack. This pressing also includes new EDM remixes (from Photek and more), but the O.G. is where it's at.

    • 20th anniversary edition w/ bonus remixes
    • black double vinyl pressing
    • original release year: 1994
    • music label: Def Jam 2014
