The Music Hall Classic turntable is a two speed belt driven turntable that comes complete with a unique uni-pivot tonearm design, detachable headshell and pre-mounted precision-aligned Music Hall Spirit cartridge . The built-in phono preamp is easily switchable to bypass mode for use with an external preamp. The belt-drive motor speed is controlled with convenient soft-touch electronic speed change for switching between 33⅓ and 45 RPM with red and blue lights for easy identification. The construction is streamlined and simplified, drawing attention to the key components: the tonearm and aluminum platter are both finished in satin silver. A semi-gloss dark walnut wood finish on the plinth echoes classic turntable design aesthetics which give this model its namesake. Recommended for listening and recording, obviously not suitable for DJing.
