Often referred to as "the J Dilla of Japan," the love for Jun Seba aka Nujabes' brand of hip-hop continues to grow well after his untimely death in 2010. Metaphorical Music, originally released in 2003, is the first solo album from the late producer, whose releases prior were centered around vinyl singles. Heavily steeped in jazz and break beats, the record features production contributions from Uyama Hiroto ("Letter From Yokosuka") as well as guests verses by: Shing02, Substantial, Five Deez, and Cise Starr of CYNE.
