Sought-after balearic bomb finally back on 12"! Originally released in 1984, Escape From New York's "Fire In My Heart" has become something of a classic in disco-not-disco circles. With its slow hypnotic rhythms, exotic melodies, and infectious bassline, it casts an irresistible spell on the dancefloor - and trust us, people will get loose! For those that steer clear of vocals, there's also the equally effective dub mix, but really those vocals kinda put it over the top. OG pressings on Rollerball go for upwards of $300, so obviously this is no easy find in the field and more reason to pick up this legit reissue from Isle Of Jura. Also includes the sleeper bonus cut "Won't Be Your Fool" that kills it ever so softly on the funky synth pop tip (reminds me of Wham's "Blue"). Recommended.
