There's no better moment in Ministry's career than this. With The Land of Rape and Honey they gave us their most pure expression of intent. They further explored their creative impulses with The Mind is a Terrible Thing to Taste, taking one song and stretching it to its outer limits. Psalm 69 (alternatively known as ΚΕΦΑΛΗΞΘ, KE*A*H**, and Psalm 69: The Way to Succeed and the Way to Suck Eggs) took all that came before, ripped it to shreds and rebuilt the whole thing from the ground up. Metal was much more present this time around as the guitars came out from behind the distortion. The album is what many would consider the pinnacle of industrial metal. Band after band has come and tried to replicate it, but not even Ministry can top this effort. Essential listening for any fan of the genre. Your collection is not complete without this album.
