From the opening minutes of "It's Personal," you think you're listening to a lost Cure track. Sweden's The Radio Dept. definitely take heavy cues from the 90s alt rock scene, perfectly blending synth-pop and shoegaze. However, this is like the perfected Swedish version, smoothed out by effected vocals and crisp drum machines. If you like this, make sure to check out their excellent 2010 album Clinging To A Scheme.
- black vinyl pressing
- housed in gatefold sleeve w/ printed insert
- original release year: 2006
- music label: Just So! 2020
