  • Smashing Pumpkins' intimate 1998 album Adore gets proper reissue. After the mega success of Melancholy and the Infinite Sadness and with long time drummer Jimmy Chamberlin exiting the group the album had an electronic tinge that was explored a bit in the aforementioned album but honed in on during the recording process of Adore making it a departure from their previous rock heavy LPs and dividing the fans as well as the band. Though there were turbulent times ahead, the album managed to go platinum and gained the band new fans. 15 years later, we can now appreciate the album as a stand alone album that features some of the band's most intimate work. For the first time Adore is spread across 4 sides (the original was on 3) on 180g vinyl with mastering duties handled by Stan Getz II.

    • 15th anniversary edition
    • 180g black double vinyl pressing
    • remastered audio
    • housed in deluxe metallic ink gatefold sleeve
    • original release year: 1998
    • music label: Virgin 2014
