"I recently purchased a Pro-Ject Debut Carbon DC turntable from you, and I am really impressed with the level of detail and customer service I’ve received so far. The instruction folder is a great touch, and your excellent site gave me tons of info and insight into buying and setting up the turntable. Bravo!" - P. Cuffari
"Wow. I just got the turntable. It is amazing. I love the bags, I love the fact that I got it literally less than 24 hours after ordering, I love the cartoon easy set up pics, the stickers, record cleaner brush, and the sound is great for the money. SOOO Happy!! Thanks guys and gals--you just created a customer for life."- R. Montgomery
"I love the Turntable Lab, great service & great products. There's no other store or site I'd rather buy my gear from. I'll sure keep on purchasing my equipment from TTL."- D. Martinez
"It's always nice to feel like you're appreciated, and you guys have done a great job with that."- R. Abeel
"Turntable lab constantly deliver the best and most current selection of modern music on all formats. It's my first stop for vinyl house and disco music. The reviews are accurate and I can trust the buyers to source quality product. Customer service is second to none and Bret has been nothing short of outstanding in every interaction we've ever had. Proud to be a Labhead." - G. Laurie
"First off I just want to thank you and your team for everything you do! The equipment and products you sell are awesome and exactly what artists like me need. I remember when I first discovered Turntable Lab by searching online for DJ equipment. I was looking all over for different equipment that I needed and when I found TTL I was relieved to find out that you guys basically had everything I was looking for." - C. Arroyo
"My Rane mixer arrived safely yesterday. I just wanted to say thanks to you and your team for your speedy response to my initial enquiry and efficient delivery. Great price and great service, I'll definitely be telling my friends about it." - A. McConnell (Marrickville, Australia)

Strut teams up with Chicago's Dance Mania for a definitive compilation that highlights the label's impact on house music. The label had its biggest impact during the 90s, becoming one of Chicago house's most popular imprints during that decade. The label's artists could be found at raves throughout the Midwest, while the tracks would be played at parties throughout the world. The path to get there was not necessarily that typical; thankfully Hardcore Traxx traces label's history from the start. Founded in 1985 by Jesse Saunders, Dance Mania went on to be run by Raymond Barney the owner of Chicago distributor, Barney's Records. The compilation takes us through the early years with tracks from Duane & Co. and Farley "Jackmaster" Funk's Housemaster Boyz alias before getting into the thick of things with Hercules' "7 Ways to Jack." If you're not familiar, the track is a Marshall Jefferson production with vocal instructions that get more and more explicit as you get deeper into the track. And it set the tone for what Dance Mania was to become in the 90s, the premier outlet for ghetto house. Hardcore Traxx helps to shine a light on the hard jacking grooves and dirty catchphrases that defined the genre. Tracks from Paul Johnson, Parris Mitchell, and Traxmen & Eric Martin will give you a good idea of what it's all about. There's more to Dance Mania than ghetto house, though. Contributions from Robert Armani and DJ Deeon ("Hypnosis") show the more instrumental side of the label. Still jacking while taking cues from acid house and Detroit techno. It would be impossible to include everything, but Strut and Dance Mania have done an excellent job with Hardcore Traxx. Recommended.
